No. On the first screen you can continue as a guest and use the app straight away. A guest account is tied to your installation, not to you.
A guest account does not survive a reinstall or a new phone: a fresh installation gets a new identifier and therefore a new account, and the old one becomes unreachable. Signing in with an email address or with Google is what keeps your favourites and your own arrangements.
Some arrangements were added by people using the app. Most were imported from publicly available sources on the internet. They are somebody's reading of how a song is played, not an official score, so mistakes and odd keys happen.
Yes — add your own version of the song. Other people can then choose between the versions.
Everyone. Arrangements, comments, your username, avatar and bio are public. Fret has no private messages.
